Ametis offers three unique accommodation categories. Each has been created with the same meticulous attention to detail for travelers looking for some well deserved time out to relax and recharge, a base away from home from where to discover the beautiful island of Bali. There is the Premier Villa ~ One Bedroom, the Imperial Villa ~ One Bedroom, and the Grand Villa ~ Three Bedrooms. All the villas incorporate some or all of the following features; a spacious landscaped compound, a generous swimming pool and sun deck, an integrated living and dining space, a home entertainment system, a flat screen television with satellite channels, a gourmet kitchen, air-conditioned bedroom/s, spa styled en-suite bathroom/s, an electronic safety deposit box, IDD telephone as well as Broadband internet connections – all the necessary mod cons to feel home away from home. For those wishing to partake in a pampering, the in-house spa features two double and one single treatment rooms from where to indulge the senses with an array of rituals expertly administered by a team of therapists.
Bapak Budi Susetyo said that the concept of Ametis Villa is very simple, "we just want to create Ametis to feel like a home and all the team here as a family who will take care of all the guests with a warm personalized service like a home-style hospitality. As a house, of course, we create a different system of what is normally applied at other villas or resorts." A Home-style hospitality will have a very warm and intimate service, very personalised to “make the guest feel relaxed” being our focus. That is why we have one butler for each villa just to ensure that guests are really taken care of. We really want to make our butlers our icons, because they will be personal assistants while guests experience their stay at Ametis and even more so, when they experience Bali as their holiday destination. The butler will help them to understand and even experience the Balinese way of life from rural to modern concepts. As we are concerned with the ‘green’ aspect of Bali, we are committed to not using plastic in our room amenities, interiors and the entire premises. We also suggest that our in house guest re-use the towels and linen used in villa. We have also planted two-kilometers of large shade trees on the road to Ametis.
Finally when Pak Budi was asked about the in-house spa and restaurant he informed us that ‘The spa will be more focused on crystals and energies as our name is also taken from one of the precious crystals or precious stone - ‘amethyst’. The restaurant will be more concentrated on Indonesian food with western food as a side menu, although there are 5 menu types offered for breakfast including; Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Indonesian and western. Vegetarian menus are also available.
Ametis is perfect for couples, honeymooners and families with some villas opening onto annexes. It will be open from mid-February.
