The showcase for The Private Spa Corporation, it is the brainchild of three people who are experts in their respective fields: Ian Lyons, world-renowned quantum physicist; Fabrice Garrigues, spa engineer and architect; and Erika Dewi, international spa staff trainer and highly experienced spa therapist, who also manufactures and exports a wide range of detoxifying and exfoliating creams, lotions and oils. Together, they have created an environment friendly center that offers state-of-the-art equipment fused with ancient traditional therapies performed by professional therapists.
You quickly become aware that hydrotherapy is a feature of the center. A focal point of the ground floor is the Vitality Pool with its state-of-the-art water treatments. The powerful jets in the pool are aimed at stimulating circulation and gently stretch the tissues through massage. Uniquely, the water is purified using a ‘vitalizer’ to recharge the body’s immune system and increase overall energy. Spread over two levels, each treatment room has a different theme: Japanese, Thai, Indian, Moroccan, Balinese, Victorian and European. Separating the treatment rooms is the impressive Luxe Caviar Spa for manicures and pedicures. There is also a Recovery Lounge that serves strictly healthy food and herbal beverages.
One of the unique treatments utilize special sounds to stimulate emotions, such as the use of Tibetan singing bowls. While Dancing Silk, Erika’s trademark treatment, uses the delicate touch of silk and ritual massage to create a sense of childhood nostalgia.
